Sweet Tea Murals muralist Anna Parker has been painting murals all over Atlanta and surrounding areas for the past five years and painting murals for nearly two decades. Murals are one of the oldest art forms in the world... it is human nature to surround ourselves with art. Although we may never know exactly why early man first put pigment on the walls of caves, the lasting importance of the images created cannot be understated. Those early cave paintings were the first signs of an innate predisposition that has blossomed into a tool for defining cultures, conveying emotions and beliefs. With the development of our modern societies and modern thoughts came the evolution of art. Primitive pigments kept pace with new innovations in science which heralded new movements in art. With the advent of tempura paints came beautiful gold gilded paintings in the gothic era, the discovery of oil paints which dried much much slower gave artists time to perfect each stroke and opened the doors for the masterpieces of Da Vinci, Caravaggio, and Titian to name a few. At each step murals played an important role in people's lives. Through the ages the work of muralists have enriched the lives and beautified the surroundings of millions.

The million dollar question... Pricing out a mural is tricky business because no two murals are alike! The size, detail, colors palette, subject, style, wall texture, and location of the mural all play a role in the cost.
